Amphibian Observation

Cascade Glass-Frog

The Macaw Lodge botanical garden has not only considered the rescue of plant species and the attraction of birds, but has also managed to generate a spectacular habitat for 29 species of amphibians registered to date.

This has been achieved thanks to the creation of small lagoons of different depths, accompanied by various aquatic plants, which form the ideal environment for hundreds of colorful frogs and are the perfect setting to photograph them.

Among the outstanding species we can mention: Yellow-cricket Frog, Hourglass Tree-Frog, Red-eyed Leaf-Frog and Cascade Glass Frog.
