Preparación de la bebida de cacao
In this tour, you will be able to appreciate the whole process, from the root to the bar manufacturing process, of the Macaw Kakau chocolates. First we will show you the agroforestry crops of sustainable cacao production. You will know the different varieties of this fruit, as well as acai, pitanga and coffee, which we also use in some of our chocolate bars. You will be able to taste these and other fruits harvested by yourself.
After learning about the fermentation and drying system of the cacao beans – the main raw material for chocolate -, we will visit the “Green Corner”, our facility where you can make your own cacao drink and taste the chocolates in their different percentages.
